Ms. Cuyler is currently Of Counsel to The Law Office of Richard M. Kenny where she concentrates her legal practice in personal injury, medical malpractice, and trusts and estates. She was formerly member of Clark Cuyler and Mederos, LLP. She is also a licensed funeral director and an owner of Sealy Cuyler Funeral Home, LLC, and a state of the art facility in Prospect Heights Brooklyn which she and her partner, Maria K. Sealy built from the ground up and opened in 2006, the first women of color in the state of New York to do so. She is one of the founders and former Member of the law firm of Gorayeb and Cuyler, P.C. which grew under her leadership from three attorneys to twenty attorneys.

Ms. Cuyler was appointed to and served on several judicial screening committees having been appointed by both former Governors Pataki and Cuomo. She also served as NYS Bar Representative for the First Department on the Judicial Screening Committee for the Court of Appeals.

She has served as a member and chair of numerous bar association committees. Among the committees that she formerly served on were the NYS Bar Committee on Minorities in the Profession (as Chair and Member); NYS Bar Committee of the Medical Society of the State of New York. She was a member of the NYS Bar House of Delegates; The NYS Bar Conference of Bar Leaders; the NYS Trial Lawyers; The New York County Lawyers Board of Directors; The Metropolitan Black Bar Association Board of Directors and the on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Judicial Friends. She is a former President of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association. She is currently a Fellow of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Foundation. She is also currently a life time member of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, a member of the NYS Bar Association, its Senior Lawyers Division, a member of the National Bar Association and a Life Time Member of the National Council of Negro Women.

Ms. Cuyler has been a featured lecturer on legal topics for local, state and national Bar Associations. She has also lectured to community groups about estate planning and end of life decisions.

She has served as a member of the Board of Directors for community based organizations. She has served on Community Board Eight in Brooklyn and on its Economic Development Committee. While at Community Board Eight she was Chair of the Catalyst Network Foundation, an organization of young professionals who provided mentoring and networking opportunities to high school students in the Brooklyn area. She is a member and has served as Co-Servant Leading of the Emmanuel Baptist Church Healing Touch Ministry (focusing on HIV/AIDS awareness, education and testing).

She has received numerous awards for her distinguished legal career and contributions to the community.

She is the mother of two children and grandmother of four grandchildren.
