The anniversary of September 11 will always be a difficult day. Everyone from survivors, the families of the victims, the people who watched live in person or on TV, and Americans across the country has a story: where they were, how they heard, who they lost, what they did. It will never be an easy day for any of us who vividly remember that clear September day, but it is an occasion that makes Americans come together as a nation.
As New Yorkers, this day is especially hard for us. The solemnity of today requires us to do nothing other than to offer our prayers to the families of those who lost a loved one 14 years ago. As native sons of this city, and longtime advocates for New York’s Bravest and Finest, this day always brings rememberance.
The good people we lost 14 years ago today will always be remembered as we continue daily the fight for justice. Here at the Law Office of Richard M. Kenny, our attorneys have worked tirelessly on behalf of the first responder survivors from the September 11 attacks in New York City.
While we can’t stop the number of 9/11 victims from growing every year, each day, we will always honor the day in the proper way of prayer and rememberance, and continuing our fight for justice.
